Spring is here and with it comes asparagus…lots of asparagus.  Those thin green stalks are plentiful at the farmers market, and are delicious in stir-fry, risottos and even simply roasted with a splash of olive oil and a sprinkling of sea salt.   But local Los Angeles Personal Chef and Food Blogger, Gaby Dalkin ( has turned the spring asparagus into a work of tart art.  Paired with the rich creaminess of Gruyere and the flaky crispness of puff pastry, this tart is a simple, and delicious way to celebrate the asparagus of spring.
